Hi, I loved the first Sparkster comic, and I really like this! The fanbase would really appreciate it if you redid this as an Internet-only release!

I was pretty much blown away by the first comic. Sparkster was already this indescribable fantasy-sci-fi-steampunk thing, but you managed to elevate it to another level.
I made an audio version of it- if you have the time, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9C34684700CE7CF9
I sure hope to see the complete second comic someday!

Woah! I'm a huge fan of the Rocket Knight Franchise, I'm really happy you uploaded these unreleased comic pages up.

Shame that Konami, wouldn't give the go ahead on continuing what could have been another great comic book series.

I just hope that Konami will one day be able to get sparkster in the golden spotlight :).

Dear Mr. Page,

First of all it is very nice that you took your time to post some of the sample pages for the, sadly, cancelled Sparkster: Last of the Rocket Knights comic universe. Seeing this kind of breaks the hearts of dozens of Fans that were hoping the Comics to continue. We all appreciate the efford of both you and Nigel Kitching.

Thanks to my best friend (who grew up in the UK and moved over to Germany) I was able to read the first comic. I was very surprised how you were able to keep the art style faithful to the official style of the videogames, and how well-written the characters were. A lot of people might have praised both of you for all the hard work, but I think this is pretty much deserved as the Rocket Knight/Sparkster Franchise is very niche and not as hugely developed as the Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise was. You brought up so many interesting things that would have worked so well for the Comic Series, and it's a big shame that so many things went wrong, and you weren't able to continue the Rocket Knight/Sparkster Saga.

Mr. Page, I hope I won't be a big burden to you, and I know you are a very busy man. Me and a few other people are running a Fandom Wikipedia regarding the Rocket Knight/Sparkster Franchise, and we try to collect as much information as we can gather these days, and I have just a few questions regarding the comics. Especially the cancelled second story caught a lot of attention since you've been uploading these sample pages.

1. What would have been the plot of the second comic?
King Gedol, Stubb, Axel Gear and Sparkster are shown in some sort of Temple with a lot of monks. It is a very unusual place to see the characters, but it seems like that there is some secret that caught the attention of Gedol.

2. What would have been Axel Gear's role, and how would his relation to Sparkster play out?
I understand that Axel Gear would appear at some point of the comic as he's the rival of Sparkster. Was King Gedol hiring him, or did Axel Gear approached King Gedol to offer him his services as Black Knight? As Axel Gear is the only one to rival Sparkster, and Sparkster is after Axel Gear for murdering his master (and adoptive father), Mifune Sanjulo, and for betraying the Kingdom of Zephyrus/Zebulos.

3. What about Princess Sherry/Shelly?
Princess Sherry has been seen in at least one of the sample pages. Would she aid Sparkster as some sort of companion, or would she have been the main target?

I hope you don't mind me asking these questions. I know it has been many years since Mr. Kitching and you were working on these comics, but if you remember anything regarding the ideas for the second comic, then I'd be really honored if you could answer my questions. :)
It would greatly (and mainly) help to extend the Rocket Knight Fandom Wikipedia in regards to the comic universe of said Franchise.

Wishing you all the best!

Kind regards
KokoaMinto
